  1. "Day 1" is a dataset already uploaded on Neurotycho (http://neurotycho.org/social-competition-task).
  2. "Day 2" is a dataset recorded next day with the same experiment as "Day 1". ( "Day 1" and "Day 2" were recorded on 2010/08/03 and 2010/08/04 respectively.)
  3. "Sleep" condition is a dataset recorded in "Sleep task".

  • Analysis
    • Time window

There are three time windows (500ms) prepared for each of two task events, "Show food" and "Food place".

  1. "Show food" + "Early": window was set during -750 ms and -249 ms around "Show food" event.
  2. "Show food" + "Middle": window was set during -250 ms and +249 ms around "Show food" event.
  3. "Show food" + "Late": window was set during +250 ms and +750 ms around "Show food" event.
  4. "Food place" + "Early": window was set during-1000 ms and -501 ms around "Food place" event.
  5. "Food place" + "Middle": window was set during -500 ms and -1 ms around "Food place" event. At some point during the window, monkey had already started reaching motion.
  6. "Food place" + "Late": window was set during 0 ms and + 499 ms around "Food place" event.
    • Frequency band power

Power spectrum from ECoG data on each time windows was calculated by FFT.

  1. "Delta": power spectrum at 2 Hz.
  2. "Theta": power spectrum summated between 4 Hz and 6 Hz.
  3. "Alpha": power spectrum summated between 8 Hz and 12 Hz.
  4. "Beta": power spectrum summated between 14 Hz and 28 Hz.
  5. "Low Gamma": power spectrum summated between 30 Hz and 58 Hz except 50 Hz.
  6. "High Gamma": power spectrum summated between 60 Hz and 100 Hz.
    • Statistics test

MannWhitney test is used for statistical comparison. Circles indicate locations of electrode. After setting all parameters and when "Draw" button is pressed, statistical comparison will be made. Results will be shown by color by following rules.

  1. Red: condition 1 > condition 2 (p < 0.0001).
  2. Brown: condition 1 > condition 2 (p < 0.001).
  3. Light blue: condition 2 > condition 1 (p < 0.001).
  4. Blue: condition 2 > condition 1 (p < 0.0001).
